Course Description
Due to the drastic global climate change, in recent years, countries have been focusing on environmental and social sustainability issues, and enterprises have also taken it as one of their corporate social responsibilities. In response to the FSC's launch of the Corporate Governance 3.0 blueprint for sustainable development and the methodology for the preparation and reporting of sustainability reports by listed companies, it is stipulated that all listed companies will be required to refer to the international standards on climate-related financial disclosure (TCFD) and the standards issued by the US Sustainable Accounting Standards Board (SASB), in addition to the GRI Standards, to strengthen the quality of disclosure of climate-related reports by the end of 2025. In addition to the GRI guidelines, all listed companies are also required to refer to the international standards issued by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) and the U.S. Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) in order to strengthen the quality of sustainability report disclosure.
This course not only explains the international standards in detail, but also incorporates the requirements of sustainability reporting practices, so that companies can collect and prepare sustainability reporting information in a more comprehensive manner. Not only can they use the GRI 2021 framework more effectively, but they can also comply with the requirements of the FSC's sustainability blueprint, and write a sustainability report with accuracy, balance, clarity, comparability, completeness, sustainability background, and timeliness. The lecturers of this course are all ESG auditors with practical experience in our company. In addition to sharing some real cases, the course also includes group discussions, Q&A sessions and practical exercises to ensure that participants actively participate in the learning process and gain practical experience.
This course aims to help organizations understand and master the skills and strategies of writing a high-quality ESG sustainability report, which is not only an important tool for organizations to showcase their ESG achievements, but also an important channel for effective communication with stakeholders. Through this course, participants will learn how to prepare sustainability reports in accordance with the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and the Task Force on Disclosure of Climate-Related Financial Information (TCFD), and how to incorporate these standards into a company's sustainability strategy.
