Regulation on the safe operation of reserved technical equipment in Germany

The Regulation on the safe operation of reserved technical equipment lays down the conditions for testing and operation. It only applies to equipment operated in Germany. These include pre-commissioning tests according to §14, subsequent in-service retests according to §15 and extraordinary tests according to §16.

These tests may only be carried out by inspectors of an 'Approved Inspection Organisation' (Zugelassene Überwachungsstelle - ZÜS) according to §21.

Our inspectors carry out pre-commissioning tests and in-service retests on the basis of the competence granted by ZÜS TÜV NORD Systems, e.g. for LPG pressure tanks, if these tests are carried out by the manufacturers of these tanks in the Czech Republic.
