AD 2000 Mbl. W0

The German technical regulation AD 2000 Merkblatt is intended for manufacturers of pressure vessels. For the qualification of material manufacturers (e.g. sheets, pipes, forgings, castings, rods, bolts), qualification according to part W0 is required. The material manufacturer is audited to verify the technical requirements for the supply of material to the pressure area. Upon certification, the manufacturer is authorized to supply materials to pressure vessel manufacturers manufactured in accordance with Merkblatt's AD 2000.

Testing and certification of manufacturers of materials and semi-finished products for the construction of pressure equipment according to a set of regulations issued in Germany by the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Druckbehälter" (AD). This qualification of the material manufacturer is often required by customers in Germany as an extension of the qualification according to 2014/68/EU, Annex I, point 4.3.

Testing and certification activities are carried out by Czech inspectors on the basis of the competence granted to them by the certification and testing site TÜV NORD Systems GmbH & Co.KG.
