IATF 16949 Certification

IATF 16949 is a technical specification globally recognized by car manufacturers. IATF 16949 is applicable to production sites of manufacturers of car, truck, bus and motorcycle parts.

ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code

TÜV NORD Czech s.r.o. provides services related to the ASME CODE application in the Czech Republic.

Nuclear facilities

Conformity assessment of the so-called dedicated technical equipment, components and materials is being carried out by the Notified Body AO 248, authorized by The Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (UNMZ) for this purpose.

Change in company management

We wish to inform you of a recent change within our organization. As of March 31, 2024, Mr. Simon Palupcik has stepped down from his position as Managing Director for TÜV NORD Czech and TÜV NORD Slovakia. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Palupcik for his service and dedication. TISAX® is launching a new version of the self-assessment effective 1 April 2024

A new feature of VDA ISA 6 is the focus on the availability of IT from the relevant suppliers in addition to confidentiality. With the consistently high number of ransomware attacks, the availability of information and information technology - including OT (operational technology) - has taken centre stage. This is vital for tightly integrated manufacturing and just-in-time processes.

We are looking for new members to join our team!

Do you have experience in order management in the field of engineering or directly in the production of pressure equipment? Are you a materials specialist or welding engineer / technologist? We are currently looking for a specialist to work with us on technical inspection contracts (especially for nuclear power suppliers) in the Pilsen region. If you have experience in production, we will be happy to supplement it with training on the requirements of European legislation as part of the training plan for technical inspector - material specialist.

Simon Palupčík became the new Managing Director of TÜV NORD Czech and TÜV NORD Slovakia.

Simon Palupčík has many years of experience in the field of certification and technical inspections. He received his engineering degree at VŠB-TU in Ostrava and his MBA at Sheffield Hallam University. He replaced (since November 15th) Dagmara Żygowska, who temporarily took over the management of both companies from Jan Weinfurt in May. Dagmara Żygowska will continue to manage TÜV NORD Polska.

The QUALITY Conference (14th - 15th November 2023, Hotel Zámek Valeč) was opened for the first time to the entire professional public

The ambition of the Conference is to bring together different sectors, to inspire each other and to promote the needs of Czech and Slovak manufacturing companies to the responsible institutions. During the second day, the demands that the representatives of the conference will present to the Quality Council of the Czech Republic were set (among them, for example, massive support of education according to the needs of industry). If you would like to get involved, the list of items is open until 12/12/2023

Change of the Managing Director

We would like to inform you that as of April 27, 2023, the new Managing Director of TÜV NORD Czech, s.r.o. and TÜV NORD Slovakia s.r.o. is Ms. Dagmara Żygowska, who is also the Managing Director of TÜV NORD POLSKA Sp. z o.o. and the Head of Manufacturing Technology for Eastern Europe.

We transfer the Management System certificates under the Czech accreditation

In the middle of last year, we started the process of transferring the German accreditation Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS) to the accreditation granted by the Czech Institute for Accreditation (ČIA). We successfully completed this accreditation process this February - we are registered as an accredited entity under the number 3258.

On February 28, 2023, a seminar "Introduction to ASME B&PV Code Section III, Division 1 for components in the supply chain for nuclear energy in the Czech Republic, Poland and the entire EU" took place in Prague.

Covid-19 Temporary measures for automatic extension of certificates validity for NDT personell outside the Czech Republic

In response to the current global situation of national/international travel restrictions, employers’ travel limitations and/or the closure of NDT training and examination centers globally as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the TÜV NORD Czech s.r.o. decided to use the following temporary extension policy.

We have enlarged a portfolio of services offered in the field of NDT personnel certification with new testing technologies

TÜV NORD Czech, a Personnel Certification Body No. 3197, has successfully expanded its scope of accreditation. Currently, its scope of services offered includes certification of personnel for non-destructive testing in level 3 in some specific NDT technologies.
