Experience

15-20  years in Sales / Marketing/ BD in  Sectors / Roles such as Oil & Gas / Power / Manufacturing / Infrastructure/ Technical Services / EPC / Inspection / Supply Chain Management.

Qualification

Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a well-known institute with Management Degree preferable.

Job Profile

  • Responsible for Business Development and Sales as per Strategic Growth Plan in Mumbai region
  • Responsible for Business Targets of Mumbai Region along with Sales Team
  • Identifying leads and contacts of major key new clients based on the project tracker
  • Approaching Key Clients contacts and meeting them, presenting TUV India capabilities and values, following up till receipt of enquiry
  • Regular visits to new / existing clients as per visit planner
  • Analyzing the scope, considering all risks and mitigation measures, listing resources and their costing and preparing commercial calculations including risk and margins
  • Obtaining internal management approvals for offers
  • Preparing and submitting techno-commercial offers highlighting the value additions
  • Participating in negotiations and technical discussions to convince the client
  • Regular follow up to win the order
  • Analyzing reasons for lost orders and suggesting strategic / tactical corrections while retaining the mimimum margins
  • Proper hand over of orders won to execution team with explanation of specific technoo-commercial details and client expectations
  • Key Account manager for certain key clients
  • Ensure good cooperation, networing with Indian and international Team with aim of meeting customer needs and expectations
  • To lead, monitor and guide  the Sales team to service the existing and new customers and build further business through generation and tracking of leads, fast and excellent response and regular follow-up
  • To meet with customers regularly to understand needs
  • Give feedback to management / execution teams about market perception, benchmarking and on how to improve the value proposition
  • Participate in New Services identification and development
  • Pre Qualification / Registration with major  Global /EPC Companies

  • Successful track record in marketing / sales / BD role for a large/ mid-sized company in the field of Projects, Manufacturing or Quality/ Technical Services in Oil & Gas, Power, Fertilizer, Petrochemical Infrastructure/ EPC Sectors
  • Excellent Leadership qualities
  • Good understanding and Liaison with customers
  • Commercial, Legal Awareness
  • Exposure to Inspection Services / QC/ EPC / O&G/ process plant environment
  • Technical and commercial awareness of Oil & Gas project technical documents like bid documents, scope documents, GTC/ GCC/ SCC, specifications, ITP, test procedures, material certificates, etc.
