Experience

10 to 15 years’ experience in International Marketing & Operations in Manufacturing, Projects or Technical Services in Oil & Gas / Petrochemicals/ Chemicals/ Power / Metals / Infrastructure Sectors

Qualification

  • B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering

  • Additional qualifications / courses in International Marketing/ Management will be an added advantage

Job Profile

  • Overall management of International Inspection Services Portfolio.
    • Planning and budgeting for annual and 3/5 years business plans with key strategies for rapid growth.
    • Execution of business plans to achieve the results in revenue and profits by building, driving, motivating, monitoring and guiding the team.
  • Marketing and Sales: Overall control of Marketing and Sales processes including: identifying potential clients, lead generation, follow-up, meetings, order conversion and hand-over to execution team.
    • Key Account manager responsible to ensure best in class international inspection service operations for major National / International Clients as well as TUV Nord Subsidiaries.
    • To coordinate with Indian customers to understand needs and scope of services.
    • Ensure no conflict of interest.
    • Bench marking of services deliverables.
    • Feedback to management / Execution teams about market perception, new/ modified services and how to improve value proposition.
  • Execution: To lead the international inspection team to service the existing customers and build further business through fast and excellent services.
    • To coordinate with TUV NORD International subsidiaries and agencies and get timely, technically correct work done from them as per customer needs.
    • To coordinate with TUV NORD International subsidiaries to obtain orders from them for inspections in India
    • To work with TUV India branches to get timely, technically correct work done for them as per International client’s needs.
  • Development of Service Network: Identify and develop services network in the countries where TUV presence is not strong.
    • Build the data base of service providers/ inspectors worldwide.
    • Setting up and handling techno-commercial agreements with various international 

      agencies/ subsidiaries.

    • Developing and maintaining good relations with TUV NORD subsidiaries, agencies and inspectors with quick and sincere communication.
    • Quality: Implement quality systems including assigning competencies, monitoring, mentoring, training, Lessons Learnt, periodic evaluation etc.
    • Commercial:
    • Obtaining offers and negotiating with TUV subsidiaries and agencies with back to back terms and conditions.
    • Preparing calculations for offers and convincing / negotiating with clients based on value proposition.
    • Risk assessment - Ensuring that scope and all terms and conditions are acceptable to TUV India.
    • Obtaining approvals from TUV India management and TUV Germany for large or multi-country offers.
    • Implement systems to ensure timely payments from clients, resolve problems and follow-up rigorously to ensure the timely payments.
    • Implement systems to ensure timely payments to TUV subsidiaries and agencies, resolve problems to ensure that regular payments are made to them.
