• Certified HAZOP Leader
• Certified Functional Safety Engineer / Professional
• Certification in Risk Assessment Tools Operation (QRA, FERA)
• NFPA Certification

• Assists the Commercial, Engineering and Operations Department in their dealings with Clients in all issues concerned with Health and Safety at work.
• Provides technical support to Senior Management on any process safety & asset integrity related subjects.
• Carry out any in-house safety training.
• Carry out safety audits on Sub-contractors.
• Liaise between Clients on safety related issues.
• Conduct safety audits both internal and external.
• Take part in accident / incident investigation
• Carry out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
• The candidate should be able to perform Process Hazard Analysis & Risk Engineering such as HAZID, HAZOP, ENVID, FMEA, Event Tree, Fault Tree, Bow-Tie, QRA, SIL, LOPA, OHRA, MOPO, SIMOPS, EERA, Safety Critical Element, Performance Standards, Dispersion Analysis, Consequence Analysis, Fire and Explosion Analysis, Flare Dispersion Analysis, Hazardous Area Classification, Non Process Hazard Analysis, IRPA, LSIR, PL, Societal Risk, Toxic Gas Analysis, Noise Mapping, Fire & Gas Mapping (2D & 3D), RAM, ESSA etc.
• The candidate should have sound knowledge on following Fire Protection Engineering activities:
  • Well conversant with Codes and Standards (NFPA, API, OISD, etc.)
  • Fire water demand calculation
  • Fire water layout / PIDs
  • Deluge system PIDs
  • Hydraulic calculations for Firewater ring main
  • Hydraulic calculation for Deluge systems
  • 3D model review for fire water system (incl. deluge systems)
  • Preparation of Fire-fighting Equipment specifications
  • Preparation of Fire-fighting Equipment layout
  • Building Protection / Safety related activities
  • Fire-fighting Equipment Vendor document review
  • Preparation of fire hazardous area plan (Passive fire protection list and extent) and fire-fighting equipment plot plan
  • Design fire and gas detection system, allocation and layout preparation
• The candidate must have prior experience in conducting PHA & Risk Assessment in Process Industries viz. Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Chemical, API, and Pharmaceutical etc.
• The candidate must have hands-on experience in using software tools like PHA-Pro, exSILentia, PHAST, PHAST RISK/SAFETI, THESIS, AutoCAD etc.
