Experience

Mininum 8-10 years out of which minimum 4-5 years in CB handling Operations Management, with P&L responsibilities.

Qualification

Graduate in Engineering, Pure Sciences or equivalent. Lead Auditor qualification, at least for ISO 9001 is desirable / preferred.

Job Profile

  • Business development and achieving business goals according to TUV India    strategy for the respective Profit Centre.
  • Responsible for the P & L of the Respective Profit Centre.
  • Budget preparation for responsible Cluster in consultation with respective Cluster Head and CFO as per the broader guidelines and growth plan given   by Managing Director.
  • Responsible for making proposal to the customers with help of respective Marketing Executive. Risk assessment to be done in consultation with Cluster Head, Legal Advisor and CFO.
  • Take lead for developing new services and/or proposal for new services.
  • Responsible for recruitment of resources, experts and associates as per the need for their respective business segment in consultation with Cluster Head and HR. 
  • Ensure adequate cash flow for the respective business segment and keep the outstanding below 30 days.
  • Perform monthly outstanding receivable review with HO / CFO and should be responsible for collection of outstanding for their product line.
  • Ensure the pending order data is reviewed for their product line so as to have accurate information on orders in hand.
  • Ensure proper MIS reporting for their products.
  • Responsible for ‘quality’ requirements applicable for the relevant services
  • Responsible to ensure compliance to all systems and procedures of TUV India and meet all the accreditation guidelines.
  • Responsible to ensure team building, competence building and enhancement and motivation of the employees assigned to them with necessary support from HR
  • Responsible for appraisal and promotion (where appropriate) for their assigned employees of PC and submit to Cluster Head for his approval within time frame as set by HO.
  • Responsible for overall process improvement from time to time as per the need of the organization.
  • Undertake and streamline PC administration (costs, investments and personnel including necessary initial and further training measures, as well as relevant tools and support).
  • Control the attainment of planned targets and initiation of measures in the case of deviations from plan.
  • Implement the processes specified in the company - especially those relating to orders – in accordance with the Quality Management Manual or group regulations.
  • Communicate targets as well as the preparation and implementation of measures to attain targets.
  • Plan and control the necessary initial and further training of employees.
  • Report actively & on regular basis to Cluster Head on special business matters, quality cases, customer relations and if necessary on deviations from agreed targets and specifications.
  • Promote exchange of information within the group.
  • Demonstrate responsible leadership and management of employees according to the code of ethics and values of TNG and ensuring a working atmosphere that promotes productivity.
  • Ensure effective and efficient operative processes (quality-compliant and schedule-complaint, cost-effective provision of services with consistent and evenly-spread utilization of resources).
  • Ensure attainment of plan targets in area of responsibility.
  • Communicate requisite information to own manager and own employees.
  • For Branch Administration related responsibility, PCH to follow the Branch Administration guideline circulated separately and interact with the respective assigned person for Branch administration responsibility
  • Ensuring proper implementation and surveillance for occupational safety, health and environmental during work for the employees.
  • Exercise power of instruction and authority over assigned employees related to organizational, disciplinary and professional.
  • Ensure services are provided in a way that meets the specified goals of the company with respect to economic efficiency, quality and profitable business growth.
