Experience

Min 10-12 years’ experience in heading food testing laboratory sales especially in the Southern region of India.

Qualification

Post-Graduation in Science or Food Technology preferably with MBA (Sales / Finance) with good academic track record.

Job Profile

Business development to ensure sustainable and profitable growth for Bangalore Food Testing Lab from Southern region of India: 

  • Responsible for overall sales and business target achievements for entire Southern region including the states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.
  • Will have all members of the Food Lab sales team from South Region directly reporting to him and his/her role would be to ensure from them optimum productivity, strategic sales efforts and achievement of monthly targets as well as other KPIs.  
  • Would be responsible for implementation of the Business Plan, Selling Strategy and Key Account Management.
  • Would also be the first level contact point for all regulatory authorities based out of South Region and will coordinate directly with both Pune and Bangalore Lab for the same.
  • Responsible for preparing and executing the annual Business Plan for Bangalore Food Testing Laboratory.
  • Needs to coordinate with each individual Product Manager to ensure business target achievement for every sales vertical in South Region.
  • Should continually obtain, analyze and present market information, trends and competitor analysis. 
  • Specific strategic initiatives towards Digital Marketing, Social Media Success, Brand Visibility, etc.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by Cluster Head
