NDT - PED / ISO- 9712

Non Destructive Examination Techniques are used to examine article / material without altering the properties of the article / material. These highly-valuable techniques can save both, money and time in product evaluation, troubleshooting, and research.

NDT personnel qualification according to ISO 9712 (supersedes EN 473) is basic qualification required to perform and evaluate NDT results for all the NDT activities for European Applications and ISO/ EN standards.

As per Clause 3.1.3 of Annex 1 of Pressure Equipment Directive, Personnel Performing NDE shall be qualified by Recognised Third Party Organisation (RTPO) of European Union. NDE Qualification as per ISO 9712 under Notified Body fulfil this requirement. 

TUV India as authorised examination centre conduct above examination in India for the methods, VT, MT, PT, RT, UT, ET, LT in Level 1, 2 and 3, in various sectors like tube and pipes, casting, weldments, wrought product, etc. and Certify NDE personnel for sector specific service specific and for Multisector 

Certificate will be issued by TÜV NORD Czech, s.r.o as Czech accredited institute as per EN ISO 17024 (for ISO 9712) and RTPO (for PED) with Notified Body No. 3197, which full fill requirement of Pressure Equipment Directive and ISO 9712, giving dual advantage to the certificate holder

TUV India is conducting open house examination throughout the year at PUNE, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad and other locations as per demand. Regularly we are conducting these examinations in the month of May, October and February in Pune. 

To appear for the examination candidates shall have relevant experience in the NDE method applied for and shall provide

• Documentary evidence that he has satisfactorily completed training as required by ISO 9712 covering syllabus of ISO / TR 25107
• It is recommended that training organisation shall follow the guidelines of ISO / TR 25108, TUV India can provide details of such organisations recognised by TÜV NORD Czech Scope of examination and certification will be strictly as per ISO 9712, ISO / TR 25107 and TÜV NORD Czech Accreditation requirements
