DOSH
The Malaysian Department of Safety and Health (DOSH) requires that any steam boiler or unfired pressure vessel that is manufactured or brought into the country to have a valid certificate of fitness (CF) before it may be used.
TUV NORD is approved by DOSH as an Inspection Authority for the inspection and design appraisal of boilers and pressure vessels.
The following are equipment of unfired pressure vessels that require design approval:
- Air containers
- Sterilizers
- LPG storage tanks
- Heat exchangers and,
- Pressure vessels at the petrochemical plants and other facilities.
