T-VER: Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program

The program is the voluntary scheme developed by the Thai Greenhouse Gas Organization (TGO).This is the Green House Gas project Validation / Verification  to obtained the CO2 equivalent amount for reduction purpose by selling, own claims, etc. and demonstrate as the CSR for sustainability. There are 3 mains GHGs, CO2, CH4, and N2O are accounted

 

Types of project eligible to be registered Alternative Energy (AE) , Energy Efficiency (EE) , Waste Management (WM) , Transportation Management (TM), Forestry (FR), Agricultural (AG), Others. There are two phase of project stage  

 

  • Validation :  the service for which we assure the reasonableness of the assumptions, limitations, and methods that support a claim about the outcome of future activities based on projected information and confirmation that they are clearly identifiable and capable of consistent evaluation or measurement against specified requirements.
  • Verification : the service in which we assure the historical data or other information and confirmation that it is clearly identifiable and capable of consistent evaluation or measurement against specified requirements.

 

The crediting amounted of CO2e will be accounted from the phase of Verification. Crediting period is last long for 7 years and one renewal. Excepted, AG has 7 years crediting period , and the FR 10 years crediting period without limitation of renewal.
