LOLER our Accreditation and Membership

TÜV UK Limited Inspection Body No. 0033 is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) as a Type A body in accordance with International Standard ISO/IEC 17020:2012 – Conformity assessment – Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection.

Our accreditation demonstrates technical competence for the defined scope specified in our current Schedule of Accreditation.

For lifting equipment our type and range of accreditation covers in-service inspection and preparation of written schemes of examination, our methods and procedures are in accordance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 SI 1998, No. 2307 (UK & NI) and Internal TÜV UK Procedures.

TÜV UK Limited is a member of the Safety Assessment Federation (SAFed) and in the case of LOLER is represented on SAFed Technical Committee TC2 Machinery Lift and Crane.
