Transportable Pressure Equipment

The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment regulations 2020 in the United Kingdom requires tanks and receptacles which are to be used to transport dangerous goods to be designed, inspected, tested and certified prior to use.  They must undergo conformity assessment provided by a UK approved body appointed by the competent authority in the UK.

TUV UK Ltd, is a UKAS accredited Type A examination body under ISO/IEC 17020 and has been appointed as an approved body by the VCA Dangerous Goods Office.

• Conformity assessment for cylinders under chapter 6.2 of ADR
• Periodic inspection of cylinders.
• Conformity assessment and periodic inspection under the Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive for Europe in conjunction with our partners TUV Nord Cyprus.
